Malik McMurrary's 11 points propelled Independence to a 57-41 victory over Centennial on Tuesday. Putting up a 21-13 lead at the half, Knights scored points early in the game. Independence solidified their lead in the third quarter, scoring 21 points. McMurrary led the charge for Independence's offense, scoring 11 points, with four points during the fourth period. Two other players also scored in the double digits for Independence: Caden Johnson scored 10 points and Mitchell McCurtain scored 10 points. Also helping the effort for Independence were Travis Novak (7 points), CJ Thomas (6 points), Caleb Payton (4 points), Grayson Allen (3 points), Dillon Burks (2 points), and Justus McCowen (2 points).
